Attendees at the WBV MANAGER Course, held at the UK RNLI Lifeboat College in January 2012, included - Royal Marines, The Netherlands Royal Marines, UK Borders & Customs Agency, British Marine Federation and The MCA among others.
Directions To The RNLI Lifeboat College - Poole UK
Driving to Poole. Travelling west on the M27 from Southampton the road becomes the A31. Bypass Ringwood, Ferndown, Wimborne to the roundabout signposted A349 Poole Town Centre. Follow the A349 and Ferry signs to the roundabout signposted A350 Poole Town Centre. This roundabout has Poole Fairway buoy on it. Turn left here onto the A350 - Holes Bay Road. Follow the dual carriage around the bay. You will see the Lifeboat College ahead, to your right. At the roundabout at end of Holes Bay Road, take the last exit on the left into West Quay Road. RNLI Headquarters is 200m on the left. The Lifeboat College entrance is after this on the right.
PARKING - At The Lifeboat College
Parking is limited at College. Security guard at gatehouse will direct you to nearby car parks.
BY RAIL - Poole is on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line
Exit Poole Station to Holes Bay Rd. Cross dual carriageway. Left onto West Quay Rd. 5 minutes.
