Whole Body Vibration Seminars
The FRC International Whole Body Vibration Seminar programme is aimed at those with a decision making role in sectors affected by this major health and safety issue. Marine sectors include military, search & rescue, government agencies, local authorities, police, wind farm, oil & gas, thrill ride, charter and all organisations operating planing boats under 24 metres.
WBV SEMINAR provides the attendees with background to European legislation, the risks of WBV and repeated shock exposure, control measures and the administrative requirements for compliance. Case studies will be used, including published MAIB reports and subsequent MCA guidance from RIB / HSC operations where injuries have occurred. Interaction is encouraged.
The aim of the WBV SEMINAR is for attendees to return to their organisations with the knowledge to make informed decisions regarding their marine operations and compliance with the legislation. They will also have a clear understanding how WBV MANAGER and WBV CREW courses can support their organisations in becoming WBV AWARE.
